Wisdom levels are depleting

Greetings!

The title doesn't mean what you think it means. No school has not been that stressful as to decrease the level of intellect that I have. . . I just had a wisdom tooth pulled on Monday. Let's just say that my sister was right and it hurts a heck of a lot more than knee surgery does. I guess the pain isn't going to last as long, but it was really bad right after the freezing wore off. I also have a bit of a cold right now and am feeling a bit sorry for myself. LOL. I only get colds twice a year, once right after fall midterms and once after spring. Thank goodness this will be the last "scheduled" cold in awhile. Despite all this I am remaining rather chipper and upbeat as I tackle the last half of this semester. Good things are happening.

My parents came to visit this last weekend and boy we had a BLAST! We rented some scooters to drive around Victoria and I am now hooked and want one as my primary mood of transportation. We also watched the salmon run, got educated at the bug zoo, did a bit of shopping, enjoyed the fall colors, took a carriage ride, and basked in each other's company. It was great!

November brings Reading Break (which I plan to spend on the mainland), Serena's birthday which includes another trip to the mainland, a trip from Serena to the island, Empress Christmas trees and Santa parades, hanging out watching America's Next Top Model with my roommates from last year, little homework, a few of quizzes, and some Vikes basketball games. What can I say . . . I like to be busy.

My future after December, however, remains to be full of questions and unmade plans. Many ideas have been floating around and I know that the only way to choose one is to prayerfully decide on something that God wholeheartedly approves of. I know that He isn't just going to fling open a door and walk me through without testing my faith a bit, so I am prepared and ready to seek His will without having a definitive answer. If you could pray for me, that would be awesome. I am of the opinion that if you are passionate about something and would thoroughly enjoy it as a job AND glorifying God in it, than go after it! I am excited for the possibilities and careers that are out there for me to pursue.

Have a great rest of October and you'll be hearing from me in November! Later days!
