Back to Reality

Greetings!

My sisters wedding was a whirlwind of activity but definitely an event I will never forget! She was the most gorgeous bride ever too!!! It was a really fun time at home getting wedding stuff together, decorating, getting prepped for the wedding, the party in Red Deer, lack of sleep, lots of coffee and energy drinks (which I now took an oath to never drink again, or at least for a little while), and seeing friends and family. The dance was pretty good too and I danced it up a bit. I don't mind it if I am with a crowd that I know but I am not really a big fan. They played some classics so I felt obligated to.

It is back to reality though. Although I would hardly count sleeping over 12 hours a day and working a life. Seriously though all I have done is sleep when I get home from work and anytime that I am at my house. Including right now, I just got off work at 7:15 and am heading to bed in a short while after I finish writing some letters and have a bite to eat.

I can't wait until it starts getting lighter earlier soon. I just really don't like coming home in the dark and have it feel like midnight all the time. Soon enough though! This month is full of work. Cupcakes is super busy at Valentine's Day and the Olympics we are guessing so I have to work full time there for the next two weeks. It will be nuts but I don't mind it so much. There will be many people working and we hired some new ones so it won't be too much to handle. I am really excited too for the new flavors this month, which include: a chocolate cupcake with raspberry icing, and a vanilla one with strawberry icing, along with a number of cupcakes for the olympics. It should be fun. If you didn't get a chance to try one when I came home, I am planning on coming home again soon so I will bring some then. This time I won't put them in my luggage so they won't get squished.

Other than that, not much is new with me. I am quite excited to see Leia again already. I thought that I was sort of sick of her with all the time we were together before the wedding but I really miss her. I hope that Banff is really nice this time of year! Well, later days!
